INSTRUCTIONAL WORKSHOP
Basic Event Information

Q: What is an instructional workshop?
A: An instructional workshop is a photography event where the emphasis is on instruction rather than group shooting.  Each event is targeted for a different technique or purpose and is designed for the photographer to come away with the ability to put into practice what they learned at the event.

Q: What kinds of workshops have you offered in the past?
A: Over the years, we've had an exciting schedule.  We've had every imaginable workshop in our studios at one time or another.  We've offered workshops on lighting, basic photography and advanced photography.  We've taught seminars on body painting and make-up techniques.  We've had Playmates from Playboy in the studios and taught glamour from the perspective of the best glamour models around.  We've had seminars on fashion photography, shooting headshots and working with teens.  We've even looked at techniques for fine art photography.  We plan to continue our robust schedule for the foreseeable future.

Q: Who has been teaching your workshops?
A: While Alan has taught a number of workshops himself, we've also brought in some of the finest instructors from around the country.  As an example, Rolando Gomez has brought in his world renowned workshop, "Glamour, Beauty and the Nude."  We've had Steve Nichols in.  Steve is noted for his work with Playmates and other incredible models in a workshop setting.  Dave Hall has been in to teach workshops as well.  Most recently, we have teamed up with internationally published fine art photographer, Adam Chilson to continue the tradition.  Adam has planned a variety of workshops ranging from basic lighting techniques through advanced photography.   Check out the event calendar to learn more about his upcoming workshops.
